Leandrea is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse for more than 9 years and a Registered Nurse for more than 18 years. She currently specializes in the management of patients with peripheral vascular disease, varicose veins, lymphedema, post-operative patients who recently had cosmetic and plastic surgery and patients who are looking to enhance their natural beauty through non-invasive modalities.

She received her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from Bethune Cookman University in 2006. She continued her education and received a Master’s Degree as a Clinical Nurse Leader from the University of Central Florida in 2010. She then went on to earn a Post master’s certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner and became board certified in 2015.

She became a certified lymphedema therapist in 2021 trained by the Norton School of Lymphatics Therapy.

Leandrea currently is the only African American female owned mobile lymphedema therapist and provider in the Orlando, Florida area. She is the sole owner of L.A. Wellness Center, LLC where she manages patients with peripheral arterial disease, venous insufficiency, venous stasis ulcers, lymphedema, post surgical patients and provide telehealth services.

Leandrea is passionate about providing quality, safe care to her patients and equipping them with the necessary tools to help manage their chronic diseases.

Being in the Vascular Surgical field has allowed her to see the high demand for certified lymphedema therapists within Orlando and surrounding areas. Most patients with lymphedema have mobility issues and therefore having a therapist that can come to them can be essential.
